W E Audio are proud to announce the recent arrival of the new SD12. This will support the ongoing investment of Dgico consoles within the company.

The purchase includes fibre optics that will fall in place with existing SD-Racks and a Waves DMI card so that the ever-popular Waves plugins can be used with the use of a Waves Extreme Server which has also been recently purchased by the company.

The surface itself boasts "to raise the bar" in compact consoles with features to include:

- 72 input channels

- 36 output busses

- Dual 15-inch touchscreens (24 channels in 1 view)

- Advanced surface connectivity with optional DMI cards

- Familiar work flow and control in a more compact frame

The Rock to Opera PLASA after show party hosted by Avolites at the Troxy in London was supplied by us on behalf of sponsor Martin Audio and Digico.

Our recently acquired Martin Audio MLA-Compact system 36 was configured with 12x mid-hi elements a side and 06x DSX-F subs that were stacked in a Cardioid configuration to reduce the noise on stage. As well as this Digico supplied an SD10 at FOH and Martin Audio supplied an additional Monitor system.

Rylan Machin Director of Operations said: "We found that the MLA-C system worked its ‘magic’ incredibly well in the Troxy and provided a very smooth SPL response throughout the whole venue, even with the challenging deep under-balcony audience area."
