In 1990 Wayne Launched his own design and hire company W.E Audio where he concentrates on providing an excellent product with impeccable service.

Wayne believes in being hands on, and his love of the industry has meant that he has travelled around the World. Some artists he has worked with include The Three Degrees, Ruby Turner, The Sid Lawrence Orchestra, Rod Stewart, Vanessa May, Shirley Bassey, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and he is soon to embark on a world tour with Elaine Page.

WE has designed systems for productions including Jane McDonald's Las Vegas Show and her DVD. He also designed and installed a system for Her Majesty Queen during her Golden Jubilee official visit to the Armed Forces in Portsmouth both on land and onboard HMS Ark Royal.

Theatre work has included The Rat Pack Live from Las Vagas, Magic of the Musicals, Dionne Warrick, Hollywood and Broadway, Tango Passion, and Stephen Triffitt Celebrates Sinatra.

W.E Audio has provided sound and services for the annual events IFOS (International festival of the sea) the Queens Jubilee celibrations and the Ramsgate Powerboat Race.

One main company policy is to maintain equipment to the highest standards and regularly check for electrical safety. All systems are set up and checked before every event or hire. Each event carries an array of backup for key items, cable, and service tools.

We take pride in doing a job well and all of the eqipment is well presented and tidy. All contracts are planned with risk assessment documentation and full public liability cover.

The Company regularly provides sound for theatre shows both of a touring and installed variety. Over the past year we have supplied high quality systems on numerous nationwide touring shows, as well as providing acclaimed installed systems for the West End residences of the successful show "The Rat Pack - Live from Las Vegas". Some of our more recent tours have included "Stephen Triffit celebrates Sinatra", "Hollywood and Broadway", "Tango and Passion", GMTV's Elvis tour, Jane McDonald and 'Magic of the Musicals' with Mari Webb and Robert Meadmore. W E Audio also recently provided a full touring system for the highly successful UK leg of Dionne Warwick's current world tour.

W.E Audio is also well respected within the corporate events industry, where it continues to provide sound systems and audio solutions to many blue chip clients and high profile events. Some recent events have included BBC TV's "This is your Life with Michel Aspal", Eddy Jordans rock and roll band at the Silverstone racecourse and Compaq Computers promotional tour.

W.E Audio also works around the world and took Jane McDonald to Las Vegas to work on her recent live video. We also have supplied engineers for many events in the Middle East for acts such as Rod Steward, Vanessa May and Bob Geldof. Another area in which W E Audio has built up an enviable reputation is the provision of large-scale outdoor Public Address systems for major events. Such events demand the delivery of high-quality announcements, for both information and safety purposes, across large areas. Few companies are capable of dealing with these requirements on such a large scale - W E Audio's experience on such events as 'The International Festival of the Sea' (a biennial event held 1996-98, & 2001-03) speaks volumes. In May 2003 W E Audio provided IFOS 2003 with zoned coverage over the whole of Leith docks, utilizing some 200 speakers and 30km of cabling over an area of some 10 square kilometers. Other events of this nature include the annual "British Power Boat Championships and "The Queens Jubilee celebrations"

Alongside our theatre and corporate event work, W.E Audio has wide experience on outdoor "one-off" events & festivals . These have ranged from New Labour's election celebrations with Tony Blair in 1999 and numerous summer outdoor shows with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to events such as the annual "Bug Jam" festival for VW Beetle owners. And last year we were proud to install PA onto the HMS Ark Royal and around the Portsmouth Royal Navy base for the visit of Her Majesty the Queen as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations.
